It was previously reported that Kim Shin Young was going to be replaced on 'National Singing Contest' by Nam Hee Suk. 

The news was met with controversy as it was seen as a decision made by KBS management, determining that a young female MC didn't fit with the demographic of the show, and is therefore leading to lower viewership ratings. 

In response, Korean netizens shared their opinion on the matter on a Korean online community.
