Kim Sae Ron is in a difficult situation following her latest social media post with actor Kim Soo Hyun.

On March 25, a close acquaintance of Kim Sae Ron talked to Star News and stated, "Kim Sae Ron is going through an emotionally hard time. It seems things are complicated that she can't talk about. I know she's contemplating about which stance she should take on these matters." The acquaintance describes a deep connection with actress Kim Sae Ron, asserting that she trusts them with intimate details of her life. The acquaintance shares that Kim Sae Ron consults with them on a range of topics, from selecting her acting projects to the nuances of her physical transformations for roles, indicating a level of closeness where she values their insights and advice.

Currently, Kim Sae Ron has not released a statement regarding the social media photo of Kim Soo Hyun that was posted on her Instagram story on March 23. The photo showed Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun posing intimately with their cheeks touching. Although the photo was deleted instantly, it spread rapidly across various online communities.

Regarding this matter, Kim Soo Hyun's agency denied dating rumors and stated the photo was taken when they were under the same label. 

Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, stated, "The current dating rumors involving Kim Soo Hyun are groundless. The photos circulating online appear to have been taken when they belonged to the same agency in the past, and the intentions behind Kim Sae Ron's actions are entirely unclear. Due to these photos, there are numerous unnecessary misunderstandings and speculations surrounding the actor. Our agency will strongly respond through legal representatives at a law firm to any malicious defamation and insulting posts that damage the actor's character and reputation."
