Super Junior member Siwon publicly expressed his disappointment about the recently held 'SMTOWN LIVE 2024 SMCU PALACE @TOKYO', held from February 21-22 at the Tokyo Dome.
After the first show on February 21, Siwon commented via his SNS, "SMTOWN Concert. Urgent improvement needed in camera work and transitions." The post was quickly deleted afterward.
Then, on February 23, the Super Junior member once again posted a similar critique. This time, he wrote, "Even if it's not the main focus of the show, the camera work is essential for the progression and flow of each performance. Proper camera work, video cuts, and transitions are very important."
Notably, the second day of the concert held on February 22 was also streamed online via Beyond LIVE for fans abroad. Many fans who tuned into the Beyond LIVE stream had also voiced their disappointment over the unstable camera work, which including disruptive close-up shots of the artists' foreheads and awkward transitions.
Good on him for calling it out. People paid money for that nonsense.
