The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), the global body representing the music industry, has announced the top 10 global artists of 2023.
On February 21, the IFPI unveiled its annual Global Recording Artist of the Year list, which ranks artists based on their worldwide sales across streaming, download, and physical music formats in the previous calendar year.

No. 3 - Stray Kids
No. 4 - Drake
No. 5 - The Weeknd
No. 6 - Morgan Wallen
No. 7 - Tomorrow X Together
No. 8 - NewJeans
No. 9 - Bad Bunny
No. 10 - Lana Del Rey
This year marks the 11th edition of the IFPI Global Recording Artist of the Year Award, with Taylor Swift emerging as the most successful artist, having topped the list in 2014, 2019, 2022, and now 2023. BTS topped the list in 2020 and 2021.
K-pop stars Seventeen and Stray Kids took second and third place, respectively, in another record-breaking year for Korean acts, with a total of four K-pop acts making it to the Top 10.
TXT and NewJeans secured the seventh and eighth spots, while IVE and NCT Dream made their debut appearances in the Top 20 at numbers 12 and 15, respectively.
