J.Y. Park chose the best idol he's ever seen.

On November 17, J.Y. Park appeared on the latest episode of BamBam's YouTube show 'Bam House' and took the time to share his thoughts on the entertainment industry candidly.

During the show's opening, BamBam seemed very nervous to welcome his guest and revealed that he had invited his former boss from JYP Entertainment. While talking about the entertainment industry, BamBam asked, "I can’t ask this question to anyone, but I think I can to you. What do you think looking at the singers who debuted later than you?”

J.Y. Park responded by first saying, “I feel like they’re debuting when they’re ready to be an idol. It’s so different. When you (BamBam) debuted, it wasn’t like that either.” He continued, "The moment I thought this person is really a celebrity… was… when I did the ‘Groove Back’ challenge. I did the challenge with Jang Wonyoung. Everything from the moment we met, filmed the challenge to the moment we said ‘bye,’ she was just an ‘idol.’ I’m saying this in a good way.”

J.Y Park elaborated, "I can see that she likes and enjoys this life and is living that life properly. Maybe she could be having a hard time internally, but at least externally, she seems that way. I felt ‘maybe this is what it means to be in full idol mode'."

Right after J.Y. Park responded, BamBam hesitated and asked, "Then… how about… hmm. I don’t know, maybe this question is not good. What was your first impression of me?”

J.Y. Park explained, "It’s easy to explain in one word in Korean. Later on, I found out you weren’t this, though. When I first saw you it was like ‘Bbaendori’ (similar to ‘slacker’ in English). Like someone who's playful, doesn’t listen to other people well, etc. But we found out you were the complete opposite."

He continued, "There was no one who had a hard time because of you. You always treated people comfortably. And you communicated with people so well and you are far from being a slacker. Only on stage, you’re like a slacker style. I’m really proud of you for that.”
