BTS has been active in the music industry for over ten years now. They have seen many ups and downs, struggles and hardships in their journey, and every ARMY would want to know all about the band's story. Several documentaries chronicle at least a part of their journey.
Over the past few years, BTS has released many documentaries, including group and solo ones. These doc-movies and series feature their everyday lives and the difficulties they have to go through while on tour or while working on an album. Now that the members have also forayed into their solo careers, they have also released solo documentaries. So, if you want to get to know them better, check out these documentaries.
Burn The Stage
It came out in 2018. There is an 8-episode series as well as a movie for this. ‘Burn The Stage’ documents the behind-the-scenes of the band’s 'WINGS' tour in 2017. It showcased their happy moments and the times when they were in pain.
Bring The Soul
Another one with a series and a movie, this documentary showcases some out-of-spotlight moments of BTS. It gives a glimpse into their world away from the stage. While we see them perform on their ‘Love Yourself’ tour, there are moments of light-heartedness and intimate conversations that are not to be missed.
Break The Silence
BTS and ARMY share a beautiful and amazing bond. Watch the boys talk about what their fans mean to them, the members' bond, their friendship, and more. We see how the group has now become the masters of the stage, but sometimes, when they fall short, it is heartbreaking for them. Even a tiny mistake can make them sad.
J-Hope In The Box
This one is a solo documentary featuring J-Hope as he embarks on a solo career. It showcases the behind-the-scenes and production-making process of his album ‘Jack In The Box’ as well as brings to us, his vulnerable side while preparing for Lollapalooza 2022.
SUGA: Road To D-Day
Chronicling the journey of Suga, aka Agust D, this solo documentary takes us through behind the scenes of his album-making process. It showcases the rapper’s more personal side, where he struggles to tell a story. Yoongi travels across the world in search of musical inspiration.
Jimin's Production Diary
The documentary tracks Jimin's journey and the creative process behind the making of his first solo album, 'FACE.' It follows the singer as he candidly shares the true feelings and ideas that went through his head while working on the album.
I haven’t seen break the silence or Bring the soul or burn the stage shame they aren’t on Netflix.
