ATTRAKT, under the leadership of CEO Jun Hong Joon, has taken decisive action in response to the alleged misconduct involving The Givers' Ahn Sung Il (aka. Siahn) and Baek Jin Sil (aka. Ahin) during the "Cupid" copyright registration process. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, ATTRAKT has enlisted the expertise of the law firm Kim & Chang to address this specific aspect of the case.
Emphasizing the severity of the illegality surrounding the "Cupid" copyright registration process, the company stated, "We consider the misconduct in the 'Cupid' copyright registration process to be an extremely serious matter. To address this issue comprehensively, we have engaged the services of Kim & Chang, a reputable law firm with a proven track record."
Earlier, on June 27, ATTRAKT took legal action by filing a criminal complaint against The Givers' CEO, Ahn Sung Il, at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul. The charges include obstruction of business, destruction of electronic records, fraud, embezzlement, and business misconduct.
Attorney Eun Hyun Oh from Kim & Chang Law Firm, appointed by ATTRAKT, commented on the matter, stating, "Concerning the 'Cupid' copyright, we are aware of ongoing cases against The Givers and related parties for forgery of corporate documents, execution of forged documents, and violation of outsourcing service contracts. We are prepared to address and respond to the unauthorized registration of copyright interests, among other issues. Additionally, we will handle the unauthorized reduction of copyright interests related to the creative contributions of FIFTY FIFTY member, KEENA, in the future."
Meanwhile, Kim & Chang has assembled a dedicated team of legal experts specializing in copyright law, diligently preparing for the upcoming legal battle. The firm is committed to ensuring a thorough and effective resolution to the complex issues surrounding the 'Cupid' copyright dispute.
