Former girl group member Seo Sarang, who claimed to have suffered from domestic violence, has concluded her divorce lawsuit with her ex-husband, Lee Jeong Hwan.
On November 2, Seo Sarang took to her Instagram and said, "It's finally over. A lawsuit that lasted for more than a year has come to an end today."
She went on to express, "I received a call from my lawyer, and tears welled up in my eyes. Not only divorce but also everything I've been through passed by, and I wondered why I had to experience things that some people might or might not go through at this age. There were times when I felt resentful of the world."
She then mentioned, "Now, I've become stronger through various experiences. I think I've matured enough to love both the good and bad experiences in my life. I have no regrets about marriage, childbirth, or divorce. I genuinely wish for happiness in both marriage and divorce because I aim for that. I'll make the second act of my life even more splendid by designing it well based on the lessons learned from the first act."
Previously, Seo Sarang appeared on the TVing original program 'Between Marriage and Divorce' in May, and it seemed like she was overcoming the divorce crisis to get back together with Lee Jeong Hwan. However, two months after the show ended, she claimed she suffered from domestic violence.
A further dispute arose when Lee Jeong Hwan alleged that Seo Sarang had an affair, drove a vehicle under the influence, and smoked marijuana.
Born in 1994, Seo Sarang made her debut in the girl group SUS4 in 2015. She later performed in girl groups H2L, OMyJewel, and Melody Pink. Seo Sarang and Lee Jeong Hwan have a child together who was born in 2019, and she is currently active as an influencer.
I can't believe she's already been through all of that and hasn't even turned 30 yet.
