More evidence appears of ATEEZ voicing the New "League of Legends" Boy Band

Last month, fans of ATEEZ received quite a surprise when Riot Games, the developers behind the MOBA phenomenon, League of Legends, shared various pictures of the band visiting their Los Angeles headquarters.
This stoked conjecture that ATEEZ would soon perform the anthem for the League of Legends World Championship 2023 (Worlds) in South Korea.
However, ATEEZ fans still held hope, as back in 2018, when South Korea last played host to the League of Legends World Championship, fans were treated to not just one but two distinct anthems. The primary song for the World Championship, titled "RISE," resonated with the intense spirit of competition and was widely recognized. Yet, it was complemented by another captivating track that took the gaming and music communities by storm.
This secondary anthem introduced the virtual girl band K/DA with their hit song "Pop Stars." What made K/DA's debut particularly remarkable was the fusion of talent behind it. The group's vocals were provided by an international blend of artists: K-pop sensation (G)I-DLE (Miyeon as Ahri, Soyeon as Akali) joined forces with American singers Madison Beer (as Evelynn) and Jaira Burns (as Kai'Sa). Together, they brought a mix of languages, styles, and cultures, creating a track that transcended boundaries and added a fresh dimension to the League of Legends musical repertoire.
Additionally, it was apparent from the photos that ATEEZ and Riot Games have some form of collaboration in the pipeline, spurring further waves of anticipation and speculation.
Then, on October 12, Riot Games posted a 'New Boy Band' teaser with a tantalizingly vague caption stating, "We're working on it," further exciting fans and sending them into overdrive with theories and expectations.
As of yet, League of Legends has not included a boy group counterpart to the popular K/DA. In light of K/DA's success, fans have been eager for a potential boy band; a demand Riot Games seems to be addressing.
With the release of the new teaser, speculation swarmed the community again, suggesting that ATEEZ could be the voices behind this anticipated virtual boy band and the six champions: Ezreal, Kayn, Sett, Yone, K'Sante, and Aphelios.
Drawing parallels to K/DA's iconic "Popstars,” fans predicted the boy group might launch their song "Rockstars" based on the latest teaser image. Various fan forums became hotspots for theories and guesses, and one such clue — a mug inscribed with the letter 'A' and filled with tea — was interpreted as a clear nod to ATEEZ.
For now, fans will have to wait and watch what Riot Games and ATEEZ have in store for them. But with the release of the behind-the-scenes photos and the recent teaser from Riot, it seems certain that electrifying times are ahead for both K-pop and League of Legends enthusiasts.
