The FIFTY FIFTY members have issued another statement, alleging that ATTRAKT has pressured them to continue promoting despite their compromised health conditions.
The girl group continued to release lengthy statements through another Instagram post. A day prior, FIFTY FIFTY alleged that ATTRAKT used the girl group to resolve debts and stated they would reveal the truth about CEO Jun Hong Joon.
On October 13, FIFTY FIFTY released a statement claiming that the girls were forced to continue promoting despite having poor health. In the statement titled, "How much longer do we have to suffer to get proper care?" the girls stated, "All the members had to endure and endure, and no one could give up whether we collapsed or fell sick because of the members' desperate desire to sing on the stage! Please understand our pain. We wanted to be protected too."
The girls claimed they exerted themselves to work through their health conditions and stated, "All the songs are the product of the members' blood and sweat. 'Loving Me', 'Tell Me', 'Higher', and 'Log In' are songs completed by a member who suffered several seizures from panic disorder, fainting on the street, and waking up on an oxygen respirator."
In the latest post, members themselves gave testimony on the physical health conditions they suffered while promoting. Saena claimed, "I experienced hair loss and I don't get my period without medication, due to severe diet-induced compulsion and internal environmental stress... My hormones completely changed and it took six months to adjust to the changes in the body."
Sio said, "I started experiencing body tremors and headaches around July 2022 before our debut, and visited the psychiatrist due to frequent blackouts taking place regardless of time and place, and was diagnosed with severe panic disorder and social phobia."
Below is FIFTY FIFTY's statement translated by their fandom (Hunnies United):
Despite the continued efforts of the girls to defend themselves, Korean netizens in online communities do not see the merit in their argument.
Korean netizens commented, "It's not like they got sick while being idols, so they stopped being an idol just as they wanted. So they can now focus on physical recovery. So stop bothering us," "So they're saying they got sick when they didn't have much work, then why did they want to change agencies in the first place? They need to find a different job other than being an idol," "Okay, we get it. Go take care of your health," "They got what they want. They can rest now," "Do they think we're stupid? They tried to change agencies and now they got what they want," "So what they're arguing is that they were too sick to promote. I guess they got what they wanted. They can rest and prepare to find another job to pay off their penalties," "They can rest forever now. They keep arguing they were too sick but why are they fighting to try to come back?" "If you look at the current 4th generation idol groups right now, there're idols busier than they are and also thinner than they are," "So, they claim to be that sick and have really poor health. But do they still want promote as idols again? is what they are saying?" and "I still don't get the point of their argument."
Thank God their health problems will be resolved because they will no longer be idols.
