Seventeen's main producer and vocal team leader, Woozi, revealed that he has released nearly 200 songs throughout his career.
On April 4, Woozi appeared as a guest on YouTube channel Hyeri’s segment 'Hyell’s Club,' where he spoke about his extensive involvement in the group’s creative process. Known for overseeing SEVENTEEN's album production from start to finish, Woozi shared that out of the many songs he has written and composed, approximately 200 have been officially released — a figure that stunned both the host and fans.

He also opened up about his songwriting habits, revealing that he diligently notes down any inspiring words or phrases he comes across — such as 'Dust,' a poetic Korean phrase referring to a blooming flower field. Woozi even gave Hyeri a peek into his personal notebook filled with these creative sparks.
When asked by Hyeri if there’s a particular song he feels especially proud of, Woozi responded, “One that left a strong impact for me was IOI's ‘Downpour’ I remember feeling confident about the lyrics when I wrote them.” He then sang a short snippet of the song, catching viewers' attention with his heartfelt delivery.
As the conversation wrapped up, Hyeri jokingly asked whether she could ask Woozi for a song if she ever made a solo debut. With a smile, Woozi replied, “Of course, anytime!” — highlighting his warm and collaborative spirit.
