Both charts are determined on the basis of streaming and music sales, encompassing data collected from over 200 regions globally. They were initially introduced by U.S. Billboard as a means to accurately reflect current trends in the global music market.

In addition to Jennie's personal success, the achievement cements BLACKPINK as the first in the genre to have every single member feature a solo song in the top 10 of the Billboard Global 200.
