Phunky Studio, the production company behind the idol audition program 'Fantasy Boys,' has recently issued a lawsuit against Yoo Jun Won for damages following his abrupt departure from the show just before his debut. It has recently been revealed that the Seoul Central District Court received the case filed by the company, with the production company seeking upwards of 3 billion won in damages.
Yoo Jun Won was a participant on the popular MBC idol audition program, 'Fantasy Boys,' which wrapped up its most recent season in June. He garnered notable attention after taking home the winning title. Upon his victory, Yoo Jun Won was subsequently added to the lineup of the boyband, Fantasy Boys.
Despite the promising start, the young idol decided to depart from the show nearly a month prior to the group's launch. PocketDol Studio, which had management duties for the budding star, had stated that they and Yoo Jun Won's parents had undergone extensive discussions regarding the contract at least a dozen times.
Despite the unexpected departure of its first-place winner, 'Fantasy Boys' is set to officially debut on September 21 KST with the remaining 11 members. The situation has thrown a twist into the journey of the newly formed group, and fans and industry insiders alike eagerly anticipate the group's debut and future course.

I can't believe that even in South Korea you can be held to a contract you've never seen and haven't signed, no matter what the conditions of entry to the competition were. There again, I don't understand how you can be sued for defamation when you're telling the truth either....so what do I know.
