The Korea Brand Reputation Research Institute found that Lim Young Woong, NewJeans, and BTS were the Korean singers with the highest brand value for the month of September.
From August 23 through September 23, the Institute analyzed big data of Korean singers in areas including consumer participation, communication, media activity, and community activity. Based on the analysis, the top 30 singers in terms of brand value rankings for this month were: Lim Young Woong, NewJeans, BTS, BLACKPINK, IU, Seventeen, IVE, Kim Ho Joong, Lee Chan Won, Psy, Young Tak, MAMAMOO's Hwa Sa, LE SSERAFIM, (G)I-DLE, Na Hoon Ah, Jung Dong Won, Kwon Eun Bi, Jeon So Mi, NCT, Song Ga In, Kang Daniel, EXO, STAYC, TWICE, AKMU, Sung Si Kyung, aespa, Jang Min Ho, Lee Chae Yeon, and Girls' Generation's Taeyeon.
Notably, trot singer Lim Young Woong once again rose to 1st place for the month of September with his consistent brand value score, earning a total of 7,036,663 points for this month. NewJeans ranked 2nd place with 5,586,045 points, while BTS came in at a close 3rd place with 5,432,083 points.
