KARD has wrapped their 2023 world tour.
On September 8, KARD concluded the Europe leg of their 'PLAYGROUND' world tour with a performance in Paris. The Europe leg consisted of five cities overall, starting with Budapest, and then moving on to Madrid, Frankfurt, London, and Paris. This is the first time KARD held concerts in Europe in roughly six years, and the Frankfurt and Paris performances completely sold out. Previously, the 'PLAYGROUND' tour also had a North American leg.
The setlist included a number of KARD's biggest hits, including "Oh NaNa," "Don't Recall," and "RUMOR." There were also solo and unit stages showing the group's range as performers. Other highlights included KARD doing the "ICKY" challenge live with the audience and a random encore stage where one song out of four was drawn and performed.
Meanwhile, the KARD members have all released reflections on the 'PLAYGROUND' tour ending. "There were so many moments I was grateful for during each performance, but what I'll remember most is doing the ‘ICKY’ challenge with fans," BM confessed.
"Every moment was so precious that I lost track of time," J.Seph added. "I was so surprised by the cheers and enthusiasm of the fans in each city, and thanks to that, I was able to receive a lot of energy."
Somin commented, "I was happy throughout the performance because [the audience] sang the songs perfectly from start to finish. I will never forget the fact you enjoyed the stage together so sincerely, and we'll continue to bring you good music in the future."
Finally, Jiwoo concluded with, "I tried to feel the characteristics of each city where I performed, and maybe that's why it was a tour that gave me more vivid memories of our fans."
I'm sooo glad the international fans give them the love they deserve!
