Acclaimed actress Kim Hae Sook is reportedly set to star in the drama adaptation of the popular movie 'Miss Granny'. On September 20 KST it was reported that Kim Hae Sook was considering the lead role in the series. The series aims to capture the essence of its source material, originally released in 2014.

'Miss Granny' follows the story of Oh Mal Soon, a grandmother who wakes up one morning to find herself rejuvenated into her 20-year-old self. Taking full advantage of her newfound youth, she jumps at the second chance to relive the prime of her life, driven by her unfulfilled dream of becoming a singer.

A hit in its film format, 'Miss Granny' attracted over 8.66 million viewers, a testament to its universal appeal and relatable content. 

The drama 'Miss Granny' has begun the production process, though its broadcasting schedule has yet to be determined.
