Lee Seung Gi is Korea's original Triple Threat. An actor, host, and singer, this multi-faceted celebrity has withstood the test of time and has been able to achieve a long-standing career in the entertainment industry for well over a decade. Between releasing chart-topping music and starring in some of the most culturally-relevant and iconic K-Dramas, Lee Seung Gi remains a staple figure in Korean culture. His timelessness is something the newest generation of idols and celebrities aspire to have, and he proves time and time again why!
Here are 5 timeless performances by Lee Seung Gi that have stayed with us through all the years:
5. Losing My Mind
With his singing ability, Lee Seung Gi took Korea and the rest of Asia by storm. Before spending a large chunk of his career focused on K-Dramas, "Losing My Mind" was on the playlist of many K-Pop fans. Though K-Pop has recently exploded on the global scene, the sheer size of the crowd in this performance is a testament to his influence.
4. Is It Still Beautiful?
There's a reason why he was nicknamed the Ballad Prince! This particular performance of "Is It Still Beautiful?" featuring You Hee-yeol is moving and beautiful, even years after the fact.
3. Candy in my ears
It's hard to believe that Seung Gi has been around for this long, but this 2009 performance of "Candy in my ears" with Baek Ji Young reminds us that we aren't just imagining all those years with his music! Whether it's a classic K-Pop and exciting, upbeat sound or a moving ballad, Lee Seung Gi never misses on his live performance.
2. Table Concert
In this gorgeous medley and micro-performance, Lee Seung Gi sang not just his own songs, but a slurry of notable and famous songs as covers. Seung Gi has since solidified his place as an emerging and influential K-Hallyu star, and this medley performance and Table Concert is one of the best pieces of evidence of exactly that.
1. Forbidden Love
“The Project” marked Lee Seung Gi’s return as a singer after five years. That same year, Seung Gi returned to the stage to grace fans with his angelic and rich vocal ability. The return and live performance of "Forbidden Love" on Master in the House is one of his most iconic and triumphant comebacks to date.
Lee Seung Gi's timelessness knows no bounds! We have enjoyed listening to his music for many years and are excited to remind readers that Seung Gi will be hitting three cities stateside for a rare North American Tour.
Lee Seung Gi's US tour will visit Los Angeles (August 26) and Atlanta (August 30) so be sure to act quickly and grab tickets before the nostalgia hits and tickets sell out. Oh I loved those Table Concert videos he released to YouTube, I've played all of them so many times, and the entire concert several times as well. That pared back format showcased his singing perfectly. I may have to go have another listen now.

He may be mostly a balladeer, but there is nothing he can't sing, that Forbidden Love was wonderful. I want to hear him fronting a rock band dammit, that time on Master in the House with Kim Kyung Ho and Park Wan-kyu(?). I've lost count of the times I've listened to this one:
