According to various media outlet reports on July 14 KST, Super Junior members Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun have begun preparations to begin their individual promotions outside of SM Entertainment for the first time since their debut.
One media outlet report on this day claimed that Donghae and Eunhyuk, also known as the Super Junior unit D&E, will soon establish their own label as co-founders. It currently remains unclear if the D&E unit will carry out activities as SM Entertainment artists, or under the new label founded by Donghae and Eunhyuk.
Meanwhile, Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun will be moving out of Super Junior's well-known dorm in Cheongdam soon, now that their individual artist contracts with SM Entertainment are set to expire. It's believed that Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun are currently searching for new homes in the vicinity of Cheongdam.
Finally, a representative of Antenna has confirmed that Kyuhyun is currently in talks to sign as a solo artist with the label. The contract discussion is progressing "positively", according to the rep.
Earlier on the morning of July 14, SM Entertainment announced that Super Junior have renewed their contract with the label as a group. This means that Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun will continue to maintain relations with SM Entertainment for their group activities as Super Junior, but they will be signed as individual artists for other activities elsewhere.
This makes sense, D&E are pretty popular and no doubt they probably want to be doing a ton more group activities than what SM will give them and a vocal heavy label like Antenna fits in line more with Kyuhyun
