FIFTY FIFTY's label, ATTRAKT, expressed complete surprise and shared they had no idea that the members had individually registered trademark rights.
In an interview with OSEN on July 5, ATTRAKT stated, "We had absolutely no knowledge that the members had registered individual trademark rights. We became aware of this through an article."
According to a patent information search service, several trademark rights, including the team name 'FIFTY FIFTY' and the members' stage names, were registered on the 19th of last month.

The individuals who registered these trademarks share the same family names as the four members. ATTRAKT discovered this information through the article published today, on July 5, and is currently assessing the situation.
On June 28, FIFTY FIFTY made an announcement through their legal representative, Barun Law Firm, that the four members had filed an application for an injunction to suspend the validity of their exclusive contract through their legal representative to the Seoul Central District Court on June 19. The trial is currently ongoing.
The legal representative stated, "The members have raised concerns about various instances where ATTRAKT failed to fulfill its contractual obligations, such as non-transparent settlements and unilateral attempts to enforce them despite the disclosure of health conditions that hindered performance. We want to clarify that the four members made this independent decision unanimously, without any external intervention."
Deception is one of the quickest ways to gain little things and lose big things. Your CEO trusted you way more than you deserved.
