“Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken” follows Ruby Gillman, a shy 16-year-old who is desperate to fit in at Oceanside High, but when she breaks her mother's rule of not going to the beach with potential friends, Ruby discovers that she is A direct descendant of the Kraken warrior queens, she is destined to inherit the throne from her grandmother, the Warrior Queen of the Seven Seas.
The movie is set to premiere on June 30 in the United States, and is produced by DreamWorks, which is behind the success of “Shrek,” “How to Train Your Dragon,” “Kung Fu Panda,” and more.
