On May 24 (local time), after her appearance at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival as a cast member of HBO’s “The Idol,” BLACKPINK's Jennie had an exclusive interview with media outlet Entertainment Tonight.
Here, the female superstar reveleaded that while making her acting debut under the name Jennie Ruby Jane, she was constantly receiving great support from her fellow group members (Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa). She said:
"When I was filming for The Idol last year, it was while we were filming the music video for our latest album, Born Pink. So they just checked in on me every day. They would call me when I was in L.A. shooting, just making sure that I was doing all right on my own."
"And that support has continued as I promotes the upcoming series. Today, Jisoo sent me a text saying I look beautiful, she was so happy for me, it's a nice family we have."
