Which idol groups have topped the MelOn TOP 100 chart this year?

On an online community forum, netizens discussed the only seven idol groups that have accomplished the much-revered spot of landing number one on MelOn's TOP 100. For many years, the celebrated music chart has been reputed to reflect South Korea's domestic listening preferences.

The only idol group songs to have hit #1 in this chart are (G)I-DLE's "Tomboy" and "Nxde," Big Bang's "Still Life," BTS's "Yet To Come," IVE's "Love Dive" and "After LIKE," NewJeans' "Attention," BLACKPINK's "Pink Venom," and NCT Dream's "Candy."

(G)I-DLE and IVE each have two different songs that have made this chart, which makes seven as the total number of idol groups to have reached this feat.
