President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, chose the opening ceremony as one of his favorite memories from the World Cup 2022 in Qatar, praising Jungkook as “incredible” and the “Dreamers” performance as truly remarkable.

Gianni Infantino posted an Instagram post looking back to his most memorable moments from the 2022 World Cup and mentioned:


“The opening ceremony, which saw (...) performances from the incredible Jung Kook and @/alkubaisiofficial, was truly remarkable.”

Korean Media also reported on the news, headlining it as “Jungkook received a warm compliment from FIFA president Giovanni Vincenzo Infantino.”
