Many SHINee fans have known for a while that Minho has a tendency to put a period behind every sentence, even one-word phrases, and behind emoticons.

This caused many fans to wonder why and always stirred up curiosity over the years. The most curious of all people was Key. Often during their social media interaction, Key would ask Minho why he keeps putting the period behind everything.

There were moments Key would make fun of Minho's dots. In one Instagram post, Key wrote, "Hello, this is Key and Bum Dermatology. We remove dots from your post and it would be 4,000 KRW per dot. Should we remove those dots from your posts?" In response, Minho wrote, "No. It's okay. Thank you." making fans laugh.

Even Minho's older brother commented on Minho's post, "Now . aren't allowed."

Even Minho's close friends and family were curious as to why Minho always dots his phrases, and their reaction shows how often Minho would put periods at the end of his phrases.

Recently, the mystery has been solved as to why Minho puts a dot after all his phrases and emoticons.

On November 9, Key and Minho appeared as special guests on the MBC talk show 'Radio Star' and displayed their real "Tom & Jerry" friendship. The two showed off their contrasting characteristics and shared about their real off-camera friendship.

It was during the show that Minho revealed why he has been putting dots behind everything. Minho explained, "I started to put the dot behind the emoticons as a joke, but then everyone started wondering why. So I thought, 'Why are people asking me this?' and started being funny. but the best reaction was from him (Key)."

Key continued to say, "It's so annoying to see him put it there just to annoy me. He's doing it on purpose because he knows I don't like it. lol."

After finding out the reason, fans thought it was hilarious and loved the chemistry between the two members. Fans commented, "So in conclusion, he's doing it to annoy Key.
