Jimin is well known and acknowledged in the K-pop industry for his unparalleled dance skills, thanks to his diverse background in dance training in different genres like hip-hop, modern, contemporary, traditional Korean dance, and more. This diversity has seen him form his very own inimitable style that makes him not only stand out in any performance but also remain engraved in the audience's hearts and minds long after the performance. 

In fact, he is such a big and bright star in the industry that many rookie idols look up to him as a role model in performing and always express their desire to be able to dance just like him. Industry professionals also constantly shower him with praise for his graceful yet powerful dance moves and say that his kind of style cannot be taught. Fans, on the other hand, have voted him as the 'Best Dancer in K-pop' in numerous dance polls and surveys year after year (Dabeme's Best Male Dancer for 3 years in a row, Japan Netlab's Best Male Idol Dancer for 2 consecutive years, King Choice Best K-pop Male Idol Dancer for 3 consecutive years and many others), proving their enthusiasm for his dance and that he is the best dancer in their eyes.

Recently, as the end-of-year music award shows fastly approaches, MMA (Melon Music Awards) held an event where fans nominated their favorite idols for different titles, in which the top 10 nominees would receive plaques for their respective titles. As expected, Jimin was nominated for the 'Best Main Dancer' award and was therefore awarded a trophy for his mesmerizing dance that captures the hearts of viewers every time he is on stage.

On the announcement that the plaque had been delivered to Jimin (announcement made on November 12), fans took to Twitter to congratulate him while also taking the chance to discuss his dance, posting various video clips of his performances that prove why he is indeed the 'Best Main Dancer' in the industry.

Of note is that this would be the second time that Jimin receives an individual award or plaque for his dance, the first having been for his solo fan-dance performance during BTS' IDOL performance at the 2018 MMAs. The Kim Baek Bong Korean Fan Dance Conservation Society presented this plaque to Jimin to appreciate his epic performance of the Korean fan dance.

Jimin is the only BTS member with not just one but two individual awards for his dance, even before he officially makes his solo debut!

They also mentioned how Jimin received praises for his dance from MCs at award shows like MAMA, how numerous dance professionals have stated that they were attracted to BTS because of Jimin's dance, how legendary athletes like Yuzuru Hanyu have said they are studying Jimin's dance for his beautiful lines and flexibility to improve their own performances in figure skating, and many other significant references showing how highly revered Jimin is as a dancer.

As such, Jimin entered Twitter Worldwide trends as fans congratulated him for his achievements.
