Jimin's birthday on October 13 is celebrated like a festival annually, with fans beginning to celebrate with lavish and meaningful projects from the first day of October till the end of the month. Jimin's fans in China, through his Chinese fanbase PARKJIMINBAR, are especially known to take things to the next level and hold nothing back when preparing events to celebrate his birthday.
As reported a while back, they unveiled one of their projects to be the creation of a 'JIMINLAND' that would occupy the entire Yeongdo, a7-story building cultural center. This is the first time that the center is holding such an event for any individual for a birthday celebration, something that was only made possible due to Jimin's influence and popularity in South Korea. Another project, as announced by the fanbase, includes café events in a whooping 28 cities across China, with the number of cities representing the Korean age that Jimin will be attaining on his birthday this year. Additionally, in collaboration with Jimin's Korean fans ALLFORJIMIN and JIMIN GALLERY teams, the fanbases organized for the covering of a 200 meter double sided super long wall with giant Jimin stickers for a whole month, the wall being along the only route to BTS' upcoming concert. Both projects are now up and running, as shown below.
The fanbase has since revealed more such magnificent projects, showing how much love Jimin's fans have for him. For example, Jimin will yet again have another large-scale Jimin Venue in Seoul. The fanbase cooperated with HiKR Ground to contract a 5-story building to build this 'Jimin Venue,' which will include a custom birthday photo wall, a birthday-themed café, and the full coverage of the bus stop opposite the Hybe building. Again, this is the first time that such an event is being held for any individual, and it was only due to Jimin's influence and popularity in the country that cooperation was possible. Here are more details on the event.
In another stunning celebratory event, the fanbase facilitated a giant themed mural on a 3-story building, inspired by Jimin's famous 'I Need You' solo stage during the 2019 MMAs. This iconic performance is still discussed to date and is one of the moments when many younger idols started to see Jimin as their role model in dance.
The fanbase also arranged for an exhibition event in Guangzhou and announced that there would be a 'mysterious guest,' which has fans waiting in high anticipation.
In another 'first in the world' type of event by the fanbase, Busan Ocean Garden was contracted to build a giant Jimin-themed loving flower wall and birthday dolls where fans can take photos and enjoy the birthday events organized in Jiminland.
Finally, the Chinese fans also took up social and community welfare projects by building a loving art classroom and a music classroom, as well as a health station in Jimin's name. As always, being such a strong supporter of education and the well-being of children, Jimin's fans always strive to follow in his footsteps in supporting the causes that he holds close to him.
The Jimtober festival is always one to look forward to, and it shows how much love and support Jimin has from fans and demonstrates the positive influence he has on them, making him a once-in-a-lifetime idol!
Jimin deserves the world 😍😍
