BTS' Jimin is famous for his thoughtful and beautiful tattoos that have a deep meaning for him as a BTS member and reflect who he is as an individual.

In an article by the Lifestyle Asia magazine in August, K-POP group member BTS' Jimin was featured among other world-class stars like Priyanka Chopra, Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, David Beckham, Ariana Grande, and more for their meaningful tattoos. 

The article highlighted the various artistic, enigmatic, unique, whacky, and aesthetic tattoo designs and messages that celebrities choose to convey through their tattoos. These have also become trendy as fans try to find out what they really mean.

As for Jimin, all his tattoos have vital meaning and evidently bear great importance for him. The Nevermind tattoo across the side of his ribcage was inspired by BTS’ Intro: Nevermind, from The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt.2 album of 2015. A pair of tattoos based on another BTS song close to his heart is Young forever and can be seen engraved on the back of his right and left upper arms. There is a Youth tattoo positioned behind his ear which could be based on the coming-of-age themes found in BTS' discography. Jimin got a number 13  tattoo on his wrist representing his birth date and BTS debut year. Recently it was revealed that he has a number 7 tattoo as an allusion to his group and 5 phases of the moon running down his back after he was inclined to add four more moons when he saw a fan art sent to him by BTS member V from Twitter.

Jimin has been known to love the moon it has been referenced in his recent photofolio theme. He loves to moon watch and has shared photos of the moon on social media as well. During the release of BTS' Dalmajung content, he shared a beautiful love letter during the festival, and it read;

Nevertheless, it was the number 7 tattoo that got Jimin a feature in the Lifestyle Asia article. The tattoo was gotten as a toast to the septet's friendship, and when he showed it on Weverse, ARMY was quick to flood social media platforms, making him trend on Twitter worldwide. On the 28th of June, while sharing a selfie and news about the anticipated 2030 Busan Expo, the singer spoke about the tattoo that he got on his index finger while showing it off creatively.

Jimin's tattoos can also be a force for good. This was the case when the artist who created the 5-moon phase tattoo was able to raise funds needed for their cause after news of the tattoo went viral.
