Three of the hottest K-Pop acts, GOT7 member Youngjae, ATEEZ, and iKON, held a joint concert aptly named, '2022 K-Pop Masterz Ep.2' at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Manila, Philippines, on Friday, September 23.

On September 23, thousands of fans, Ahgases (GOT7's fandom name), ATINYs (ATEEZ's fandom name), and iKONICs (iKON's fandom name), flocked to the domed venue.

Friday's show kicked off to a vibrant start, with Youngjae performing "Vibin" and "Sugar." Clad in a green suit, Youngjae had the audience fall in love with his sweet, sultry voice performing his refreshing tracks, including "Tasty" and "Focus."

"I'll be back here again soon," said Youngjae, who conducted his solo show in the Philippines in July and then came back two months later for the '2022 K-Pop Masterz Ep.2.'

Celebrating his 26th birthday last September 17, the audience wished Youngjae a happy birthday both in English and Korean, making him smile from ear to ear.

During the talk segment, Youngjae named "Girls Girls Girls," "NANANA," and "Never Ever" as the top GOT7 songs in his playlist.

Closing his set, Youngjae returned to the stage with his performance of "Crema," giving a smooth, dreamy feel the song gives off.

Marking the group's debut stage in the Philippines, K-Pop band ATEEZ took the stage next. Kicking off the set with their most recent single, "Guerilla," from their ninth mini-album 'The World Ep.1: Movement,' followed by their powerful, immaculate performances of "Pirate King" and "Say My Name."

The band thanked fans for being there to witness their first live performance in the Philippines, saying, "Thank you for waiting." "[Our] biggest strength [is the] cheers [we get] from ATEEZ fans," said the group.

ATEEZ's leader Hongjoong expressed excitement for their first solo show in the Philippines and hopes to return soon, saying, "We can't wait for our concert here someday." The group also expressed gratitude for the love they received on their first Philippine stage.

Returning on stage for another set of hits, ATEEZ's stage presence overflowed as they performed "Wave" with pure bliss while the members were throwing signed balls, followed by their adrenaline-packed performance of "The Real." ATEEZ gave ground-breaking performances, delivering satisfying dance synchronization, along with their strong and melody-driven vocals throughout the set.

Decked out in swag outfits, iKON started their set with "Sinosijak" and "Rhythm Ta," making the audience sing along with the lyrics. Filling the venue with red lightsticks swayed by fans as if it was iKON's solo show, one can say that iKONICs have been waiting for this moment for a long time.

By the time iKON showed up on stage, half the audience had stood up to enjoy the moment, feeling the once-in-a-lifetime moment with the boys.

The mood took a fresh turn with the band's performance of the fan-favorite hit song "Love Scenario," followed by the rocking and loud track "Freedom."

"I really missed you," DK said as he gazed out over the red ocean.

During the game segment in which the members had to choose one letter from the word "iKON," fans learned a few details about the boys. Every morning, Bobby goes on Weverse, Jay feels just sexy, Song shaves his hair, June sleeps, Chan thinks about Philippine iKONICs, and DK goes to the toilet to wave and say "Hi" to himself in the mirror.

Jay serenaded the audience by singing the Filipino song "Dahil Sa'Yo," then invited everyone to join in.

As the show came to a close, the boys of iKON returned to the stage for an encore performance for their fans, capping off the Friday night with their performance of the group's latest single, "But You."

Driving fans into a frenzy Friday night, the members did not forget to thank their fans for coming and that they promised to be back as soon as possible. Together, the boys of iKON said, "Mahal kita," which translates to "I love you" in English, to wrap up the show.

The boys of iKON know how to handle their audience, making the show of their own with the band's effortless performance. With Youngjae, ATEEZ, and iKON's high-energy performances, the concert was a serious jam.

This was the second episode of '2022 K-Pop Masterz,' with the first show lineup comprising TREASURE, GOT7's Jackson, and BamBam that took place in July.

Meanwhile, '2022 K-Pop Masterz Ep.2' also took place in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 25.
