BLACKPINK have officially wrapped up first-week sales for their 2nd full album 'Born Pink' at 1,542,900 copies, sliding right in at #1 on the list of highest first-week album sales of all time for K-Pop girl groups (based on the Hanteo chart).
The girl group has more than doubled their first-week sales record previously achieved by 'The Album', claiming a majorly successful return to the music scene for the first time in 2 years. With over 1.5 million copies sold since its initial release on September 16, BLACKPINK's 'Born Pink' is now the highest-selling album by any K-Pop girl group in history in first-week sales.
'Born Pink' also takes up #8 on the list of the highest-selling albums in first-week sales of all time (based on the Hanteo chart), right behind NCT 127, who also wrapped up first-week sales on September 22. The ladies of BLACKPINK rank fourth in terms of artists with the highest-selling albums in first-week sales, behind BTS, Seventeen, and NCT 127.
Congratulations, BLACKPINK!
