Kris Wu has been tried on rape charges approximately 10 months after getting arrested. 

According to Xinhua News Agency, Kris Wu's trial was held at the Beijing Chaoyang District People’s Court on June 10th local time. The charges included rape and group licentiousness, which means he risks spending between three and ten years in jail. 

His trial was not open to the public to protect the victim's privacy and the court will give out the final sentence according to the law in the near future. 

Meanwhile, in China, the crime of rape normally faces a sentence of between three and ten years in prison. Group licentiousness applies to anyone over 16 years old who organizes or frequently participates in group sex with three or more people and incurs a jail sentence of up to five years.
