JYP Entertainment has been hitting it big with their girl groups. Beginning with The Wonder Girls & miss A in the second generation and TWICE in the third generation, JYP ceases to stop producing such great top-tier talent. We are now in the fourth generation of K-POP.
A fun fact for you is that THIRTY idol trainees have debuted in the past six years at JYP Entertainment. That's pretty impressive, considering how difficult and long the process is to produce and debut an idol group.
Today, we will check out the thirty trainees who were able to debut under JYP Entertainment successfully -- let's take a look!
TWICE (Debut 2015) - 9 Members
Nayeon, Jungyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo (Leader), Mina, Dayun, Chaeyong, Tzuyu
ITZY (Debut 2019) - 5 Members
Yezi (Leader), Lia, Ryujin, Yuna, Chaeryeong
NiziU (Debut 2020 - Japan) - 9 Members
Mako (Leader), Rio, Maya, Riku, Ayaka, Mayuka, Rima, Miihi, Nina
NMIXX (Debut 2021) - 7 Members
Lily, Haewon(Leader), Sullyoon, Jinny, BAE, Jiwoo, Kyujin
This is a pretty impressive feat to debut over 30 idol trainees since 2015. It truly looks like JYP Entertainment is on the run to be an agency for top-tier girl groups! NMIXX just debuted, but they are already garnering tons of attention. Every song released by TWICE & ITZY become a hit, and NiziU is already becoming a massive success in Japan! All we gotta say is, that the future definitely looks bright for JYP Entertainment and their girl groups.
