Block Berry Creative, home to girl group LOONA and vocalist Sunye, will be launching global auditions soon in order to discover members of its first ever K-Pop boy group.
The 2022 'Monthly Boy Project' is seeking boys who will join Block Berry Creative on "a great journey across the silent sea". The selected members will debut in Block Berry Creative's first ever K-Pop boy group, also a male sibling counter part to the agency's first girl group LOONA.
As many of you know, Block Berry Creative first began its 'Monthly Girl Project' in October of 2016 by unveiling the first member of a girl group that would later become LOONA, HeeJin.
The boy group born from the 'Monthly Boy Project' is expected to debut some time in 2023.
I kind of feel like BBC should spend more effort promoting Loona before starting another group. Yes they are in Queendom 2 but that just means BBC will get free promotion from Mnet. These girls are so talented and had one of the most, if not the most, unique debuts. But things never really took off after that. They never really got the success their talent and hardwork deserves.
