TAEMIN’s WANT - his 2nd Mini Album, celebrates its 3rd-anniversary today s it was released on February 11, 2019, by SM Entertainment.  The mini-album serves up seven tracks: Artistic Groove, Shadow, Truth, Never Forever, Monologue, WANT ~OUTRO~, along with the title track and lead single WANT. It debuted at #1 on the Gaon Album Chart.  

SHINee’s TAEMIN of 2019 has had 11 years honing his ambitions of a K-Pop idol to produce WANT, that is, reminiscent of his MOVE era and is also influenced by his favorite artist Michael Jackson. 

Interestingly, for all watching the music video of WANT on YouTube (with English captions) perhaps for the first time, Taemin said:  “And I hope after watching the performance and listening to the song, viewers will want me more, and want to watch the performance more, just like the title of the song.” (Twitter/@WordsByTaemin)

Today, February 11, 2022. To celebrate the mini-album WANT’s third anniversary, a TAEMIN global fanbase @TaeminGlobal (Twitter account) had fans participating in tweeting with the celebratory hashtag #WeWantTaemin, from midnight.  In addition, fans tweeted from midnight their personal well-wishes for Taemin’s WANT 3rd Anniversary, along with various videos. 

To boost the celebratory occasion even more so, the lead single WANT surpassed over 44 million views on YouTube yesterday, February 10.
