A 'BTS' shrine in Japan is attracting attention.
On an online community forum, a netizen pointed out a particular shrine in Japan named BTS, presumably short for 'By The Sea.' However, according to the photos, the shrine is attracting visitors with the K-Pop group BTS's promotional materials displayed at the location.
The official website for the shrine also indicates that it costs 5,000 Yen for a special prayer session and that appointments are necessary.
The map of the location as well as other photos shared online can be seen below:
According to the netizen, this shrine is not dedicated to the K-Pop group but to Guanyin, with BTS as simply the name of the location. As of now, no official news related to the copyright law has been confirmed, and yet the majority of the netizens are commenting that the attraction is being run without consent.
What do you think of this issue?
