BTS's SUGA debuted as a producer on February 12, 2014. On this day, BTS released their third mini-album Skool Luv Affair, and the album contains Tomorrow and Jump, both produced by SUGA.
'Tomorrow' is a song SUGA wrote while he was a trainee. 'Jump' is a song that SUGA and RM, who were trainees at the time, worked together in 2010 and re-arranged into a seven-member version of BTS; with that, SUGA showed his beat-making ability.
Fans worldwide celebrated the 8th anniversary of SUGA's producer debut with #8YearsWithMinPD and 'THANK YOU PROD SUGA' via Twitter. Korean media published about the celebration.

The producer SUGA can get not only records but awards too. Three of his songs won awards at MelOn Music Awards. Wine by SURAN feat. Changmo (2017), We Don't Talk Together by Heize feat. Giriboy (2019) and Eight.
It's no wonder artists, and labels are so grateful after a song produced by him is released.
In November 2021, the streams on his songs as a producer surpassed the 1 billion mark on Spotify.
As all of this wasn't enough, Over The Horizon, the song SUGA reimagined for Samsung, will be featured on a commercial that will air during the Super Bowl, the biggest annual event in the USA with the most expensive commercials. A 30-second commercial during the Super Bowl costs $6.5 Million.
