On January 30, a post titled, 'The most-watched idol videos of 2021' was created in the popular online community site, Theqoo. The post included the rankings of the female K-pop artists with the most number of YouTube views in 2021.
According to this list, IU came in at the top with 649 million views in 2021 (Views tracked from December 26, 2020, to December 26, 2021).
Second place was BLACKPINK with 315 million views, followed by aespa in third place with 249 million views. Fourth place was TWICE with 237 million views. The rest of the top include: in fifth place with Brave Girls, followed by Oh My Girl in sixth place, seventh was Red Velvet, eighth was ITZY, with IZ*ONE at ninth place, and Taeyeon at tenth place.
From 11th place to 20th place, was STAYC, (G)I-DLE, GFriend, MAMAMOO, Chungha, Sunmi, Fromis_9, Girls' Generation, HyunA, and Eunji from A Pink.
From 21st place to 30 included, T-ara, A Pink, LABOUM, Jeon So Mi, 2NE1, LOONA, April, Lovelyz, BoA, and Cosmic Girls. From 31st place to 50th was Lisa, Momoland, AOA, Joy, Hwa Sa, SISTAR, f(x), Dream Catcher, Hyolyn, Soyu, Brown Eyed Girls, Girl's Day, EXID, Weeekly, KARA, Everglow, 4minute, Wonder Girls, YooA, and miss A.
