SHINee, Red Velvet, and EXO's Kai are the next artists to board the 'SMCU Express'!

The three groups will be participating in SMTOWN's upcoming 2022 winter album project, 'SMTOWN 2022: SMCU Express', which marks the beginning of the 'Metaversial Origin Story' of each artist housed under SM Entertainment. The winter album will be released this coming December 27, featuring not only SHINee, Red Velvet, and Kai but also TVXQ, Super Junior, BoA, Kangta, Girls' Generation Oh!GG, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, aespa, Ginjo, IMLAY, and more. 

On December 30, SM Entertainment also plans on launching a media art exhibition housed at SM Entertainment's headquarters, the 'SMTOWN Experience: PLAY@KWANGYA'. Lastly, the final part of 'SMTOWN 2022: SMCU Express' will be unviled during the New Year's Day online concert, 'SMTOWN Live 2022: SMCU Express @KWANGYA', taking place on January 1 beginning at 1 PM KST.
