It is always a joy and a time of healing whenever BTS's Jimin communicates with fans, be it on Twitter, Weverse, or VLIVE. The experience is enhanced so much more on VLIVE due to the fact that fans can not only see but also hear his voice. Hence, fans are always in anticipation of when he will visit them on VLIVE.

He finally did visit on August 10. This was after fans had continuously been asking for him to have a broadcast on VLIVE as it had been a long time since he had one, and they had missed him a lot. Some fans even kept count of the number of days since he last had a broadcast on VLIVE, and it had been 293 days. 

Thus, when he was talking with fans on Weverse on August 7, some fans asked him to do a VLIVE broadcast soon as they had missed him, and he said he would. Fans could not contain their excitement to this news, as seen from the Twitter trends in different countries and worldwide. In total, there were five worldwide trends and five trends in the USA. All trends amounted to over 109, with over 26 keywords across 32 countries. He also peaked at #1 on Japan's Twipple celebrity ranking category.

The same request from fans came up on August 9 when BTS had an online fan meeting, and this time Jimin promised to do one the next day (August 10). Once again, the news excited fans, and they could not wait for the next day. As fans expressed this excitement in various tweets, more than 16 trends and over 11 keywords trended in over 10 countries, and he also trended on Japan's Twipple celebrity ranking, peaking at #2.

Finally, JIMIN came to VLIVE the next day as promised. Immediately, 2 million viewers tuned in to watch him, which surprised him as he knew that most people would be either at work or at school during that time of the day. It goes to show how much everyone had missed him and was waiting for him.

Immediately, various keywords got into Twitter trends in the USA, worldwide trends, and in other regions around the world, with some fans even trying to wake their friends up too. He also rose to #1 on Japan's Twipple celebrity ranking section. Some tags like JIMIN JIMIN even crossed 1.52 million mentions.

Jimin mainly asked how fans were doing and told them to take care of themselves and their health by eating all their meals as always. He spoke of what he was doing at that time and what he had been up to lately and explained why he took a while to have a live broadcast. He also explained why he came in the middle of the day instead of the usual nighttime when more people would have been available from their daily schedules, and promised to come at night the next time. Further, he thanked fans for their support for their latest releases, 'Butter' and 'Permission to Dance,' and said that he was anticipating meeting them for concerts when the pandemic is over. He also stated that he could not get pets currently but maybe in the future, in response to some fans' questions, among other things.

With such a high number of real-time viewers, Jimin's broadcast got into the daily charts in under an hour, quickly rising to the top of the chart. It also topped the trends in weekly and monthly charts. Less than 24 hours later, the broadcast was trending in first place in all 24 available country charts for daily trends and was trending in 8 of these countries' weekly charts.

During the online fan meeting, a fan had asked Jimin if he had heard of the song that his Vietnamese fans made for his birthday last year, and he said he would search for it and listen. Sure enough, after his VLIVE broadcast, he posted the on Weverse saying he had listened to it and thanked his fans for such a beautiful gift, which got the song trending in Vietnam at #2.

Indeed it was a blessing to see Jimin again after such a long time, and fans were already missing him as soon as he ended the live broadcast, asking him to come back, so much so that JIMIN COME BACK got into Twitter trends. Jimin's sweet and comforting words are always something to look forward to, and fans are hopeful that he will come back soon.
