B1A4's Gongchan has been cast as the male lead in the upcoming web drama 'Mokkoji Kitchen'.

On August 27 KST, WM Entertainment stated, "Gongchan has been cast as the male lead in the web drama 'Mokkoji Kitchen', which will premiere on September 6." 'Mokkoji Kitchen' will depict the story of chef Mu Young (played by Gongchan) and college student Roh In (played by Nam Kyu Hee) coincidentally encountering each other, and filling their hearts with various flavors as they share delicious meals together. 

Gongchan will play the role of Mu Young, a chef at a one-man run Korean fusion restaurant. Mu Young is a man who doesn't know how to do basic things in his daily life and lacks common sense, but he carries with him an unexpected charm. Many look forward to how Gongchan will interpret the character of Mu Young.

Meanwhile, 'Mokkoji Kitchen' will be released through Mokkoji Korea's YouTube channel on September 6 at 10AM KST.
