Fans of former KARA member and actress Seungyeon donated to independent films, to celebrate Seungyeon's 33rd birthday.
On July 24th KST, Indie Space announced that Seungyeon's fan community, Eternal Sunshine, participated in a sonation made towards independent films. Their donations were marked by an engraved plaque inside Indie Space's theater.
Indie Space, first opened in 2007, provides a platform for various Korean independent films through exhibitions and screenings. 'A Shared Space Sponsorship' is a method they have been using in order to support audiences, directors, actors, and film organizations, and if one donates more than 2 million won (~$1,735 USD), they can have their name engraved on the seats of Indie Space theaters.
Meanwhile, Seungyeon has been receiving recognition for her career as an actress, coming out in several dramas, including 'Hello, My Twenties', 'About Time', and '12 Nights'.
