On November 11, Jimin surprised the fans with an unannounced live broadcast on Youtube. According to Jimin, he took a short break from their dance rehearsals and other preparations for the New Year’s Eve event to talk to the fans. 

Jimin, as the project manager for BTS’s upcoming album BE, teased the fans with some updates and also talked about the process which the group underwent relative to the new album including the making of their latest music video. Lastly, Jimin also managed to give some updates about member Suga’s current health status.

More amazingly, Jimin’s live continues to trend on YouTube worldwide for more than 22 hours and as of the time of this writing, in other countries and regions such the United States, Philippines, South Korea, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Russia, Malaysia, Italy, Turkey, Slovenia and Spain.

It is remarkable for Jimin’s live video to trend continuously on such an overly competitive platform in the United States. Thus, it shows Jimin’s true and incomparable SNS power.

Likewise, the live video has surpassed 5 million views and received more than 1.2 million likes in a very short time of less than 24 hours. Its historical data shows it has amassed 3.6M views in 7 hours, 4.6M in 12 hours and 5.2M in 21 hours.
