On June 4th, members Sorn and Seungyeon posted potential comeback hints to their individual Instagram stories. Sorn’s uploads featured oceanic waves and even a floating purple hibiscus flower, followed by a floating white hibiscus. Hibiscus flowers are known to bloom in mid-to-late summer, so maybe she’s hinting that CLC’s comeback can be expected in July or August of this year?
The girl group’s last comeback Devil was released approximately 8 months, 19 days ago, today. A summer comeback would not only mark the septet’s first release of 2020, but it would also be their first official summer-inspired comeback! In 2017, they switched promotional tracks from wintry Where Are You? to their cute b-side Summer Kiss.
The leader and main dancer of the group, Seungyeon has a talent for making jewelry. She’s known to emphasize the theme of her designs with the use of emojis, but this time, she’s specifically focusing on aquatic animals. In her most recent Instagram story posts, she is showing off her newest creation with a fish emoji attached to the picture, and in the next post, she opted for a dolphin emoji.
What do you think? Hopefully, we will see news of a CLC comeback later this month or sometime next month! Stan CLC!
