BTS at UN - End Violence campaign

Huge hate campaign started against Kpop fans and against different South Korean celebrities, mostly towards BTS, which was also supported by many media/newspaper outlet by publishing inappropriate articles which contains misleading informations to generate hate. For days now Armys can not use social platforms peacefully, nor they can enjoy communicating with each other in their fandom. BTS and Army has been attacked by groups of malicious people (not by black people!) who pretend to be supporters of the BLM movement. They are sending hateful messages to them, accusing them with racism, while they are clearly supporters of people of colour. They are cursing at them, calling them names, threatening them and so on. Armys stated: "We were peacefully supporting Black People by signing petitions, sharing information and trending blacklivesmatter hashtag on social network sites because we know that the issue is serious and racism can not be tolerated, but these attackers are trying to force us to donate money as if we would be able to do it. Many of us have family issues, many of us are middle school or college students with no job at all. Many of us can't allow to help with money because we also need to help our own families."

These people also attacked BTS in the most disgusting way, violating their human rights, sending messages to them which support suicide ignoring the fact that they are NOT just artists but human beings too. "For God's sake, they are also sons and brothers of someone. How can they look in the mirror after they urged them to self-harm. We are curious about; how would you feel if the same thing happened to your sons or daughters? If they would have to face cyberbullying in the most disgusting way? Did you know that it is a crime?" -Armys asked

Having an opinion and being abusive are different things.

Instead of writing articles which are full of false informations, people should educate each other not to engage in cybercrime.

BTS and ARMY members are supporting the black lives matter movement. The group has already made their statement on twitter that they do not support violence or racism in any way and had already donated money to help. "We love our Black Army members and we also want justice for George Floyd, but the way we were treated in the past days is unacceptable." Says Armys who demand apology for their recent struggles, and wants empathy towards BTS, and Army members as well as towards Kpop artists in general.
