On the 6th of March, RM and V of BTS made a brief appearance on VLive and shared their thoughts on their album, the records as well as their sadness of performing without an audience.

V left fans in glee when he revealed that he has been working on new music and one of the tracks would be released shortly. Many believed that he was speaking about the soundtrack of popular drama “Itaewon Class” as the Korean media outlets had reported on his participation prior to the live stream.

Talking about the soundtrack, V said: “I wrote the song while I was abroad. I made requests on how I want the song to be.” He further added on the production of the song and said: “They had a hard time because I wasn’t able to convey what was in my mind.. but I worked hard to express it and the song is now complete.”

V also shared his hope for the OST and said: “This song is... it’s my type. I love this song. I wish this song could heal ARMY when they listen to it.”

On the 9th, a fan shared a snippet of an article on Weverse reporting on the title, release date and more. V encouraged fans to listen to his song and said: “Sweet Night = please look forward to it”.

V’s first solo soundtrack “Sweet Night” is reported as an indie pop track with an acoustic vibe. It is produced and sung by the idol himself. The OST will be released on streaming platforms worldwide on Friday, 13th of March at 6 PM (KST).
