Goo Hye Sun has shared recent activities since news of her breakup from Ahn Jae Hyun.
The actress announced on Instagram that her film 'Mystery Pink' that she personally directed has been selected for "The 11th Seoul International Short Film Festival" that will be held from September 3rd through the 8th. 'Mystery Pink' is a horror melodrama thriller that features her own autobiographical story. The film was also screened at the 19th Jeonju International Film Festival and actors Seo Hyun Jin and Yang Dong Geun reportedly starred in it as well.
However Goo Hye Sun explained that she'll be absent from the festival due to health reasons. The actress shared a photo on Instagram wearing a patient uniform and stated, "I've been admitted to the hospital for surgery to remove polyps. I won't be able to attend the festival but I'll be rooting for everyone in attendance."

She also revealed that her books 'The World Without You' and 'The Silence for Me' that share feelings after losing a pet have been featured at the Shanghai Art Fair. She also shared that her novel 'Tears are Heart Shaped' has ranked #1 in the e-best seller list.

Whatever thoughts with her current situation, she has always been successful on her own. She kept popularity on her own.
