While many expected former singer Jung Joon Young to be absent from his first court hearing, the accused was seen attending the hearing on May 10 at approximately 11 AM KST outside Seoul's Central District Court.
On this day, Jung Joon Young and his legal representative stood in front of the court in order to plead guilty to all 11 cases of filming and/or distributing illegal, sexual content via social platforms. Jung Joon Young's attorney stated, "We admit to all indicted charges, and agree with all of the evidence presented by police."
Regarding the ongoing investigation surrounding his involvement in sexually assaulting a woman with former F.T. Island member Jonghun and others, Jung Joon Young's attorney simply commented, "When these charges are pressed, please adjust [Jung Joon Young's] court schedules so that both cases can receive trial at the same time."
Furthermore, Jung Joon Young and his legal representative is seeking to come to legal settlements with the victims who were filmed without permission. The attorney relayed, "Please appoint a government lawyer to represent that victims, as we hope to come to settlements."
Settlements means to free him of criminal charges and drop the case against him? I would rather he pays his dues and be imprison but I am not his victim so I can only have a opinion.
Such scums does not deserve settlements.....
