MBC's newest historical romance drama 'Rookie Officer Goo Hae Ryung' has confirmed its lead cast!
'Rookie Officer Goo Hae Ryung' is a fictional story set in 19th century Joseon, revolving around a female palace officer with a strong sense of gender equality during a a time when women faced limited education. Actress Shin Se Kyung was cast firsthand as the bright and energetic female palace officer Goo Hae Ryung, and opposite her, ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo has accepted the role of a second prince named Lee Rim. He lives trapped in the royal palace, but maintains a secret career as a romance novel author.
Next, actor Park Ki Woong has been cast in the role of the crown prince Lee Jin, a perfect, model crown prince who cherishes his little brother. Actor Lee Ji Hoon joins the cast as Goo Hae Ryung's senior officer, and rookie actress Park Ji Hyun will play the role of a fellow new recruit female officer.
