Model Lee Chul Woo's agency has denied his reported ties to Jung Joon Young's controversial chatroom.
It was previously reported Jung Joon Young's castmates from the 2016 JTBC reality show 'Hitmaker', Super Junior's Kangin, 2AM's Jinwoon, and model Lee Chul Woo were involved in the chatroom, but an investigation to confirm is still underway. On April 3, Lee Chul Woo's agency ESteem denied the model's connection the controversy, stating, "We want to clearly state Lee Chul Woo was not included in any chatroom that is currently raising issues."
ESteem continued, "Lee Chul Woo himself has not filmed or shared illegal hidden camera footage. He also has not been contacted by any investigation regarding this. Three years ago in 2016, Lee Chul Woo and Jung Joon Young were part of a chatroom for sharing schedules with the cast and staff of JTBC's variety show 'Hitmaker'. The chatroom was deleted after the conclusion of the show."
Stay tuned for updates.

This is the problem with speculation by the media and netizens. Those who are innocent are forced to counter the accusations and no one believes them. We need to wait for investigations to actually implicate them before dragging people through the mud. Once there is evidence against them then they are fair game but people need to remember that innocent until proven guilty is still the rule of law. We should not attempt a witch hunt against everyone the guilty parties have ever known. This is unfair to the innocent parties who are being carelessly mentioned as possibly guilty. Their reputations are being damaged for no reason.
