New Instagram named ‘Sussexroyal’ the Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined instagram and had tons of people follow them. With fans in frenzy over the royal pair, the account has quickly obtained two million followers despite being on the site for less than a day. The pair attracted one million followers just 6 hours hours after it was created meaning that it broke the record by almost six hours.
Upon joining the social media giant, the pair posted a message to all their fans as they thanked for their support.
The royal couple have taken the title from KPOP Idol Kang Daniel who achieved 1 million followers in 11 hours 36 minutes - double the amount of time it took Harry and Meghan. Daniel however does not use this instagram handle anymore due to his ongoing legal battle with his Agency.
The message from Harry and Meghan said: “Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues.
"We thank you for your support, and welcome you to our page - Harry & Meghan.”

One this isn't kpop related really. Two the royals are forbidden from having social media accounts. If that is an official account it's no doubt being ran by a publicist for the royals considering how everything from clothes, hair, and nail polish is monitored.
