Previously ,Photographer Bernard Faucon has accused BTS of plagiarizing his work.
The French photographer claimed that BTS copied concepts for "Blood, Sweat, & Tears" as well as 'Young Forever' from his work. He claims that the works copied are his "Les Grandes Vacances" and that BTS got the idea for their series from his photography project "The Most Beautiful Day of My Youth".
According to Faucon's agency, they sent two notices to Big Hit Entertainment demanding an apology and damages, but Big Hit Entertainment denied any similarities between the accused photos.
Later on April 14th , he released a statement as below :
Also ,during BTS‘s press conference for Map of the Seoul: Persona, a reporter(working under YG Entertainment) asked an inappropriate question about BTS’s “Blood, Sweat & Tears” and came under fire for it as a result.
Fans think this was a clout-chase move by the photographer who seeked attention , but due to high possibility of being sued by BigHit Entertainment , turns to have backed out now.
Funny how this particular story all links back to YG. The reporter that broke the story and randomly asked BTS about it at their press conference works for YG. And the photographer was tipped off about this whole thing by a friend who has worked with YG acts a couple times... Coincidence?
Honestly I like YG acts like Akmu, CL, Lee Hi, Ikon and Taeyang, but that company is criminal trash in my eyes. Can't stand it anymore. Hope they burn in their own mess and let the artists go.
